The EC value indicates the electrical conductivity of the water generated mainly by the salts. The more salts in the water (Nutrients) the higher the EC value. High salt levels can also indicate a high sodium and chlorine content.
Measure the water with a calibrated EC meter and add EC REGULATOR to reach a level of 0.4 CE (+/- 1m of EC Regulator per Litre of water.) You can now add the rest of the nutrients according to the schedule.

-Improves absorption of nutrients.
